I try to express myself and offer new ways of seeing the world around us. I don’t try to give a realistic view of my subjects. I leave the identity of the subject behind. I look at its color, fabric and lines.

Urban reflections, lost mirrors, driftwood, dirty walls…The link to the past is always there in my artwork. I find beauty in decay. My work often gets close to abstract painting. I find the border both is really so thin....

I don’t artificially set up my shots. I frame ordinary objects very narrowly, trying to catch their last bit of life, their last breathe. I want to catch the details and make them radically simple.

The less I interfere with my subject, the stronger it will be.
